Nigeria is set to participate in TWF Continental Welding Competition (TWF CWC) 2026 with a team of welder participating in two categories . TWF CWC 2026 sponsored by CENFIM and Electro-Portugal, will come alive from 22- 24,June 2026, Maputo, Mozambique. TWF CWC now in its 3rd edition, runs concurrently with TWF Annual Assemblies. It is Africa’s welding skill exchange platform. It is a free participation event that brings together Africa’s top welders from different schools and companies to showcase and sharpen their skills across various categories, and market their competence to the biggest manufacturers in Africa.

Nigeria will join other African countries like Senegal, Ethiopia, Angola, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Liberia and others to push the elastic limit of their welding skills in the delivery of simple but technical welding challenges. The purpose of TWF CWC is not necessarily to distinguish best from worst welders to create and sustain that competitive atmosphere in which welder demonstrate their skills, share their knowledge, learn from fellow competitors and build friendships across Africa’s welding ecosystems.

The Nigerian team of welders will be supervised by a welding training expert from Nigeria’ premier welding training school, the Petroleum Training Institute, Nigeria.

TWF CWC is open representatives of training schools, welders from companies, and independent persons- to participate, send a mail to conference@weldfa.org or fill the registration form on www.twfassembly2026.org
