NIW-Authorized National Body (NIW-ANB) is the technical welding management affiliate of the Nigerian Institute of Welding (NIW); the umbrella body tasked with the responsibility for promoting the interest of welding and related technologies in Nigeria.

NIW-ANB responsibilities is focused specifically on executing all Qualification and Certification services in country as an affiliate of NIW under the supervision of a Governing Board whose composition covers all stake holding interest in the fabrication and construction industry in Nigeria. All examination, certification, qualification and welding procedure witnessing and welder qualification activities in various industries are conducted by the ANB.
